Miles Away was an original funk rock band that I joined upon moving to SF. Complete with a fake production company and a delusional leader (no, not me, I was just the guitar player) Miles Away was a real learning experience. I got to travel up the coast of northern CA a few times and play places from Humboldt Co. down to Santa Cruz to San Luis Obispo. We had a really good drummer, too. I wonder where Jeff Colvin is? Several hours late for something, no doubt.
